How early can you buy movie tickets?

I want to buy tickets in advance for a movie that I've been dieing to see.

How early is one able to buy tickets? Thanks!

It depends on the movie, usually if its a movie that they expect is going to be big, you can get the tickets a month in advanced.

i brought twilight tickets a week before it came out so when you know its going to be in that cinema book them!! x
